Rajkummar Rao, along with Akshay Kumar, became one of the first Bollywood stars to cast their vote in Maharashtra elections 2024.
Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao was one of the first celebrities to cast his vote in Mumbai. The actor was seen at a polling booth to complete his duty on Wednesday morning. He was the second Bollywood celebrity seen at the polling booth this morning. Earlier, the paparazzi spotted Akshay Kumar stepping out and casting his vote.
In a video shared online, the prince was seen leaving the polling booth. He urged fans to vote. “It (voting) is very important. Everyone, please get out and vote. “It is voting day, it is very important,” he said.
Rajkumar also posed for photographs with fans at the polling booth. He expressed happiness after seeing many people coming out to cast their votes. Asked who he was supporting, Rajkumar said he would not reveal who he had voted for.

Apart from Akshay and Rajkumar, film director Kabir Khan also reached a polling booth in Mumbai to cast his vote.
This year has been memorable in films for Rajkumar. The actor has given consecutive hit films this year. The actor impressed fans with his performances in films like Srikanth, Mr. & Mrs. Mahi and Stree 2 this year. Stree 2 emerged as one of the biggest Bollywood blockbusters of the year. However, her winning streak slowed down due to the below average box office collection of Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala video.
Still, it seems like Rajkummar is the frontrunner for the Best Actor award in the upcoming awards season.
If reports are to be believed, Rajkumar can end the year on a high note this weekend. The actor has lent his voice as a narrator for Ajay Devgan’s upcoming release, Naam.
