Texas is the brand new No. 1
Texas is the no. 1 crew within the AP Ballot for the primary time since October 2008. TI and Brittney Spears have been topping the charts the final time Texas was ranked the very best in school soccer. In 2024, the Longhorns live their life just like the Atlanta rapper in 2008, off to an undefeated begin at 3-0, with a top-10 street win coming two weeks in the past.
Texas strikes previous Georgia, who solely beat an unranked Kentucky crew by one level on the street. In the meantime, the Texas offense is doing no matter it likes to opponents — identical to TI’s No. 1 track in 2008 — regardless of if Quinn Ewers or Arch Manning is getting snaps at quarterback.

Utah, Kansas State and Oklahoma State tempo the Large 12
There is a jumble of Large 12 groups slightly below the highest 10 of the AP Ballot. Kansas State moved as much as No. 13 after defeating then-No. 20Arizona. Oklahoma State fell behind the Wildcats at No. 14, whereas no. 12 Utah held regular
We’ll see Utah go to Oklahoma State this week to make clear the Large 12 image, and Kansas State will host the Cowboys the next week. The race for the Large 12 title will get very thrilling very quickly.

Illinois and Texas A&M are the brand new entrants for the week
Solely two top-25 groups misplaced in Week 3, with Arizona and Boston School dropping to ranked opponents. These two groups fell out of the rankings, and No. 24 Illinois and No. 25 Texas A&M changed them.
Illinois is 3-0 with a ranked win below its belt. The Preventing Illini beat a ranked Kansas crew two weeks in the past and most not too long ago took down Central Michigan to remain undefeated.
Texas A&M dominated Florida with its backup quarterback, main the Aggies again to the rankings after opening the preseason at No. 20 after which being unranked for 2 weeks.
